Blessed World Mental Health Day 2021

Today's 10/10/2021. To normal people, it's Worldwide shopping carnivals. But to 25% of the World, it's World Mental Health's Day. This was 8 years ago figures, 1/4 of the world population diagnosed from at least 1 mental conditions.

World Mental Health Day was established in 1992.10.10. 1st program started by WHO in 1994/10/10. Since then every year there's different theme for World Mental Health Day. This year, the theme's "Mental Health in an Unequal World".

Example of Mental Health diagnoses are Generalized Anxiety Disorder, Schizophrenia, Bipolar Disorder, Obsessive compulsive disorder, Narcissism, Depression, Panic Attack, Disassociative Identity Disorder, Self harming, Suicide Thoughts, Social Anxiety Disorder, Post-partum depression, Manic depressive, Asperger's, Borderline Personality Disorder, Tourette Syndrome and many more.

Majority of these disorders were genetics. Some of these "Mental health disorder" such as Autism Spectrum Disorder are "gifting". Since he/she's gifted in 1 focal area. Recently, Due to COVID-19, many have mental breakdown due to stress...

Stress is something everyone experiences. Despite being unpleasant, stress in itself is not an illness. But there are connections between stress and mental health conditions including depression , anxiety, psychosis and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).

In Malaysia, those with Mental Disorders' are often stigmatized or looked down upon. They were labelled and given no chance of promotion. Unless he or she started their own business. 4th anniversary blog update - Back to square one.

Well, how time flies... It's been 4 years since I starting this blog. It's mixed feelings... Generally, it's been back to square one. I lost my full time job back in November 2020. I'm now freelance Car salesman, Certified Carsome agent, D-concept Agent and Trapo agent. More on upcoming posts.

I had an unstable angina back in June. 10 days after my 1st AstraZenica Jab. I was hospitalized for 2 days, discharged and cleared after acing Stress Test. I was given 60 days of Blood thinners and 2 more drugs. I am fully vaccinated on August 2, 2021, team AZ. Followed up on September 23, Dr given me all clear, all good. Blood pressure normal. No further treatment needed for my Heart.

Where do I begin, I am now at my fattest at 101kg last week. Reduced to 99kg today. I turned 42 on August 13, 2021. Family celebration only. I still have fatty liver. I just recovered from a mild depression during the 2nd MCO. I was not allowed to leave my house alone for 3 months due to breach of trust. Thanks to My Cell members and friends' support. They lend their ear and time to talk to me. This went on Until Early October.

Spiritual wise, I'm good past 30 days. I've been consistent in Reading the Bible, devotion and prayer. Every night except Tuesday I have Zoom meetings. SOmetimes, I attended 2 Zoom meeting concurrently (1 Laptop and 1 handphone).

Relationship wise, I was "Rejected" 5 times every year 2017,2018,2019,2020 (twice) by the same girl. So much so that I lost my will to fight obesity. She bro-zoned me the 1st 3 times but ended up cutting ties from me in September 2020 because of my persistance (or so I thought). Later I found out it's the other guy who's been harassing her.

I still missed my granny. My dad was stucked in VIetnam (Saigon) since March 9 2020. It's been almost 2 years. Last 30 days update. My dog Bobby the Golden retriever got bone cancer. Vet gave us 2 options: Amputate or leave it.

It's so bad that 2 of her rear right feet nails came out. Apparently, he's been on and off cancer since 2014 (7 years), that's why the previous owner gave him to us. We are glad he spent 7+ glorious years with us.

Reviving this Blog today, Jan-June 19 update

Today is 4th December. It's supposed to be my Granny's 97th birthday. This is the 1st year she's not around in her birthday. The reason I stopped updating this blog on 14 Jan is due to Gag order after my Late granny went home with the Lord on 14 January 2019. I thought it's temporary, little did I know I was too depressed to update this blog until today.

Today I picked up the courage to update this blog.

What happened to my life from last update back in 12 January till today. Letme summarize month my month:

January: Granny's death on 14 Jan 2019. Felt devastated. Stopped my Intermittant fast and work out regime. No more mood to do anything...

February: 1st time quiet CNY Celebration due to morning... Cannot receive angpow, cannot

do visitation, cannot celebrate... Delivered my 1st Hyundai Sale after 4 months eating Egg. Shortly after that tender my resignation.

March: March 1:

New Beginning at Toyota Unitedstar Aman Suria. Culture shock as it's a 2 shoplot 1s center. Many things SOP different from Hyundai. My feedback, Here the Admin and Salespersons in the 1st 4 months working here seemed communication breakdown and no teamwork. Broker popped in collect car unannounced. No system. Only saving grace is no need go HQ Collect car, no need arrange puspakom inspection, much higher basic.

April:

Went to Tenom, Sabah 4d/3n mission trip with Daniel Lim. Supporting Dream Hostel in running their Student camp. We stayed at Crocker range, Kimanis. Nice scenic view overlooking Keningau town. Had a great time over there.

Alpha Season started in full swing. I was hosting for the 1st time. 2 of my guests were Blind. Interesting experience. This was the 5th time I serving in Alpha. 6th including Q4 2016, where I was a Guest. Enjoyed every moment.

Started Counselling journey at HELP CPCS with 1st Therapist Tamar. Had 16 sessions with her. Everyone around me can see changes. The ball is in my court, it needs me to apply what I learned and conquer the fear of rejection and failure. Also being discipline and overcome my laziness to follow up customers. This session ended Late August.

This month was the Launching of New Toyota Yaris. Priced to sell from RM72,000 for J, 79,888 for E and RM84,888 for G. This is "Vios Aeroback." It's CKD in Bukit Raja, Klang, hence the competitive pricing.
