1) What’s your opinion on the election result?  Is it shocking?

a) PS.Daniel (Ps.D): People’s vote, Unity, democracy.

b) Dato Dennis Ignatius (DI):  Beginning of 2 party system.  Racial cards no longer relevant.  Eg. LGE Finance minister.

- Every race united.  Brothers’ keeper

- Fear of transition.  Surprised the World with smooth transition.  Benchmark the world

- Meriahkan pesta demokrasi

- Victory of whole country for all people.

c) Michael Yeoh (MY): 

- Malaysian tsunami.  New Era.  Caused by Shift Sunday.  Daim and Rafidah endorsed Pakatan candidates in Ceramah. 

- Night of polling day, IGP and Armed forces, civil service and police decided peaceful transition.

5 factors in the Malaysian Tsunami:

- Mahathir Factor.  Assurance to rural Malaysia

- Addressing the 2C.  Cost of living and corruption

- Major swing in East Malaysia (Sabah and Sarawak).

- 4A’s.  Anger, Arrogance of Power, Alleviation and Acceptability of Dr.M.

- He announced his own victory before EC. Declare 2 days public holidays and 100 days KPI Mandate.  Appointed Council or Elders advisory.  All fantastic people.

2) What are the reforms needed?

Denison: Please print and refer to Pakatan Manifesto.  There’s over 200 pages.

- Highlights: Remove GST, Stop leakages and corruption, Review mega Projects, Review Toll concessionaires, Review MACC and AG

3) What should be the role of the Church?

- Accusations of Christian taking over Putrajaya, Zionism.  How to avoid this?

 A: Continue Praying.  Next 6 months challenging. Let your light shine, walk the talk.  People looking and see our faith and sincerity.  Help keep them honest.  Walk in wisdom.  Live our faith without provoking them.  Not everything we do we share to internet/twitter.

 We need to have better understand our Muslim brothers (sensitive to them).  Reach out to help the muslims.  Form friendship and alliances with them.  Change their perception of us.  We are about loving our neighbours as ourselves.  Understand them, read their Quran.

4) Public Q&A Session.  Private or Off Limit...  

Conclusion:  Unity is our responsibility.  Bersekutu – Bertambah – Mutu.  Focus on policies issues, not race and relations.  Take a stand.  Tun Dr.M’s changed, he realized his mistake.  This is a Golden chance for Tun Dr.M to rewrite the history, correct the wrongs he made decades ago.  Leaving a legacy. Mahathir 2.0, he can no-longer call the shots, he need to get the support of PKR, DAP, Amanah.  The Sun is Brighter for Malaysia.
